What is MCdle?
MCdle is a daily guessing game built for Minecraft fans. Inspired by Wordle and LoLdle, it challenges you to identify a mystery block, item, or mob from the game — one new puzzle every day. If you grew up punching trees and memorizing crafting recipes, this one's for you.
Each guess reveals colour-coded hints that nudge you closer to the answer. The puzzle resets daily, so there's always a reason to come back. Your stats and streaks are tracked automatically, so you can see just how well your Minecraft knowledge holds up over time.
How to Play
- Type the name of a Minecraft block, item, or mob as your first guess.
- The game reveals colour-coded feedback for each property of your guess.
- 🟩 Green — that property matches the mystery target exactly.
- 🟨 Yellow — you're close but not quite (e.g. adjacent category or nearby value).
- ⬜ Grey — that property is completely off.
- Use the hints to think about what else in Minecraft shares those traits — biome, type, update version, and so on.
- Solve it in as few guesses as possible. Your result is saved to your streak automatically.
Tips for Minecraft Veterans (and Beginners)
- Start with something broad — common blocks like Stone or Dirt help establish a baseline across multiple categories fast.
- Think in groups: if the target turns out to be a mob, focus on properties like hostility, biome, and drop items.
- Hard mode restricts which guesses are valid — only attempt it once you're comfortable with the standard rules.
- Colour blind mode swaps the default palette for one that works for everyone. Toggle it in settings before you start.
- Stuck? Think about the obscure stuff — Minecraft has hundreds of blocks and items that rarely come up in conversation.
- Play daily to protect your streak. Miss a day and it resets, so make it part of your morning routine.
Features
